Blush & Bashful is Grand Canyon Performing Arts' premiere black-tie event that features performances by local and national artists, a five-star dining experience and a high-end auction. This year, our annual Blush & Bashful Gala features the JJ’s band -a high energy 7 piece band that will surely get you dancing and having an amazing time. Congresswoman Krysten Sinema will be our VIP for the Meet & Greet. This year a portion of our proceeds will benefit the QU Scholarship Fund. GCPA and the Phoenix Metropolitan Men’s Chorus have enjoyed great success with this annual event, and look forward to continuing that success this year. QU Scholarship Fund
A portion of our fundraising efforts will go to support QU. Their mission is to: Identify and promote scholastic achievement of Arizona lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth through a combination of monetary awards, social development, and mentoring allies.
QU fosters scholastic excellence of Arizona LGBT youth regardless of financial, social, or personal backgrounds. QU is a post-secondary scholarship program, and funds for these scholarships have been raised through grassroots efforts. QU donations not only go toward scholarship awards, but also to build the QU Scholarship Fund Endowment to ensure the longevity of the scholarship program. QU is administered by the Arizona Community Foundation.
